Authors: Emily Oken, et al. / Journal: The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, August 2003

Summary

Researchers estimated how pregnant women changed their fish eating habits after the 2001 federal advisory about mercury in fish was publicized. Results show that women reduced consumption of dark meat fish, canned tuna, and white meat fish by about 1.4 servings per month with continuing declines through the end of the study period.
